About the Course

Introduction to Korean language is a short-term special course suitable for students with no prior knowledge of Korean language. This course includes learning to write and speak the Korean alphabet (Hangul), greetings, and expressions and language used in the classroom.

All teaching for this course is online.

This course is a short-term special course, but the official certificate of Sejong Institute is not issued.

Classroom Code of Conduct

We want to create an engaging and immersive learning environment for everyone. We kindly ask that you:

  • Turn your video camera on during online live classes.

  • Do not consume food during class (drinks are allowed). 

  • A change of class may only be available on the 1st week of classes commencing (after discussing and confirming with relevant teachers).

  • Please bring the ebook or textbook to class.

Refund Policy

  • A full refund is given if applicants notify us in writing at least 5 working days before the start of the course. Please contact studentaffairs@richmond.ac.uk

  • After that, 50% of the course fee will be refunded if cancelled before the start of the course. No refund is given once the course starts.
