After paying on Richmond University's store, you can access your online book and sign up to King Sejong Institute to listen to your pre-recorded classes for free.
Will a certificate from another Sejong Institute be recognized at the London Sejong Institute?
Yes, official certificates issued by any Sejong Institute are recognized at the London Sejong Institute.
However, certificates from other Korean language schools are not accepted;(Students who have attended other language institutes are required to take a level test) only certificates issued by Sejong Institutes are considered valid.
What is the suitable textbook for my class?
We use the King Sejong Institute Practical Korean book series. For the relevant book number, please check the individual course page.
Do I need a textbook?
Yes, you will need a textbook for class. The free online e-book versions of all of the textbooks are available on the Sejong Institute website (https://nuri.iksi.or.kr/front/cms/contents/layout2/learningkorean/contentsList.do). However, you may buy one as a physical copy if you wish.
Is registering for the King Sejong Institute Online Service (온라인세종학당) free?
If you've paid for the course, registering online on King Sejong is free.
How can I buy the textbooks?
Paper books are available on Amazon and e-books are available free of charge on the Sejong Institute site.
How many weeks does the class run?
The regular course is a 12-week course, and there is a class once a week. The days of the week may vary depending on the level.
Do I need to take a level test?
All new students must take a level test except for complete Beginners. Level tests can be done at https://nuri.iksi.or.kr/front/page/participation/onlineLevelTest/main.do# and you can apply to the classes that match the results.
